VICTORIA — New Democratic Party MLA Bowinn Ma pronounced herself satisfied this week with the latest report on a transit crossing of Burrard Inlet, an idea the rookie MLA has promoted since shortly after she was elected.
“This exciting technical feasibility study is the first-ever coordinated effort by the province … to identify a potential rapid transit solution across the Burrard Inlet,” said Ma, via the government press release accompanying the report.
“This is good news for the North Shore,” she told reporter Brent Richter of the

. “It means there are multiple options for us to put into TransLink’s Transport 2050 process,” she added, looking years into the future.
